Social agencies unite to place 1900 Indiana orphans in loving family homes. Most children are ages five to twelve and seek patient foster parents to guide them to useful citizenship. About 3200 children already live in family homes or are adopted, restoring normal life and joy to foster families. Dedication of Warren County Service Flag Ceremony
The 1919 dedication occurs Sunday April 6 at 2 pm at the Williamsport courthouse to unveil the Warren County Service Flag honoring local troops and Red Cross nurses. Mrs Jesse Swisher Dies at West Lebanon Home
Mrs Jesse Swisher aged 68 died at her West Lebanon residence after a year long illness. She lived in the county all her life, recently moving from a farm southwest of town to partial rest. Survived by two sons Lester and Clyde, a daughter in Columbia City, Ind, three sisters and one brother. Funeral held Wednesday.

House Burned to Ground on Don Swan Farm
A northeast of here the Don Swan farm house on Moore hill burned completely Tuesday morning about 10. Mrs Lewis Purple was in bed sick when Charles Citizen arrived and carried her to safety before the flames consumed everything in the house.
