West Lebanon resident Charles Chapman survived a serious crash near West Point after a pickup to Lafay ette goes wrong. Enos Ritchey was killed instantly. J W Young Elisha Ritchey and Chapman injured. Young drove and Ritchey allegedly grabbed the wheel causing the plunge down an embankment.

Mrs. Sarah Amanda Holz Dies After Quiet Life in Indiana
Obituary notes the death of Mrs. Sarah Amanda Holz at age 75 in her Locust Grove home on March 12 1918 after a long illness. Born February 9 1840 in Reading Pennsylvania she moved to Warren County Indiana with her family as a child and endured two marriages. She was active in church life at Locust Grove and known for kindness to friends. funeral held March 14 at Locust Grove Church conducted by Rev. Riley off Boswell.
