The city Parent Teachers Association held a well attended Friday meeting at the school with about 100 parents and patrons responding to special invitations. The program featured piano and vocal solos, a reading, a duet, an orchestra performance, and an address by Miss Mary Matthews of Purdue on Home and Social Efficiency. Supreme President to visit Attica for Yeeman site talks

Windstorm causes widespread damage across region
A Sunday night windstorm, likened to last year’s cyclone, battered farms and towns from Hedrick to Marshfield. Buildings unroofed, chimneys toppled, poles and telegraph lines blown down, with schools in Boswell and Marshfield damaged and communications cut off. The storm, part of a large hurricane from Tennessee, stretched across the Wabash valley with winds around 60 mph.
