Pioneer Warren County resident dies at 82

David Biser, longtime West Lebanon area resident, died at his daughter Mrs. William Brenner's home after months of illness. He was 82 and survived by two daughters and a son. Funeral services led by Rev. C. E. Bebee were held Friday at the AMPT church with burial in West Lebanon cemetery.

Maria James of Rainsville Warren county Indiana died March 5 1920 aged 74 years 11 months 5 days. She married Wilson Brown in 1860 and left two daughters Lillie Goodrick and Ida Brown. Charles R. Hughes, a prominent Democrat of Peru, announces his bid for State Treasurer subject to voters at the May 4 primary. He has long worked in finance with the Wabash Valley Trust Co. since its founding and serves as vice president and director of the Citizens National Bank at Peru. Early in life he studied law, joined L. E. & W. railroad service, and was elected Miami County circuit court clerk in 1894, later practicing law in Indianapolis while keeping Peru as his voting place.

T. R. McDonald attended the Lester Greenberg sale near Hoopes ton TL last Wednesday and bought a fine lot of purebred Shropshire sheep. He now has fifteen head of excellent ewes and plans to specialize in purebred stock. Joseph Cline, west of Winthrop, bought interests of other heirs in the William Cline farm, 32 acres northeast of the city, for 6000 dollars. Robert M.
