Masonic Home Day Set for June 23 in Hedrick Indiana

A Masonic Home day event at the Masonic Hall Hedrick Indiana is scheduled for Saturday June 23 starting at 2 PM. The program includes song listening invocation address on the Temple Building music reading piano and vocal solos and two addresses with readings and a reading about the Masonic Home. Auction items include a spice of value boxes and a similar box supper auction with proceeds benefit the Masonic Home at Franklin Indiana. Prizes include three cakes for the most popular young lady the best box supper married woman and the easiest man. Everyone is welcome.

Attica Wedding Joins Miss Hazel Woods to Robert Hanson

Miss Hazel Woods of Liberty township and Robert E. Hanson of Attica wed at the Schermernorn home in a ceremony before about 150 guests. The bride, a Lafayette Conservatory of Music graduate, is described as Attica’s charming young lady. the groom, son of the late Williamsport superintendent S C Hanson, is a Carmel College veteran and engineer. The service featured Judson Thomas and St James Campbell with music by local musicians.

Impressive matrimonial event in Lafayette church

A wedding at First Baptist Church in Lafayette united Miss Emily Louise Messinger and Dale C. Kerr with about a hundred guests. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. J. H. Carstens and featured a detailed bridal attire, a reception at the bride’s home, and a large wedding party. Later, adoption papers were granted for twins in Fountain County, with the Ervin family involved as caregivers.
