Two Girls Sent To Reform School After Custody
Edith and Margaret Howard aged 12 and 14 were taken into custody on delinquency charges. Their mother died a year ago, they lived with their father in Old Town before he moved to the Schoonover farm. The girls fled to Attica when officers closed in, juvenile judge Cecil Haupt pursued them with Marshal Cheak due to Sheriff Dutcher's absence, and they were jailed last night.

Otterbein to Open Farm Bureau Produce Market

Mrs Dan Young passed away at the family residence in Attica on Monday morning after suffering a stroke the previous Thursday. She leaves her husband and two children Daniel and Martha, and was the daughter of Mrs Sarah C Bridge of Attica. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday at 6 PM with interment in Riverside.
