The Warren County Farmers Institute at West Lebanon drew good attendance with fine lectures by Mrs. Oge Greencastle and R L Thompson Steuben County on club home making hog breeding and feeding and farm organization. Frank J. Goodwine highlighted the association’s work and cooperation with others in Indiana. County Agent Madaus reported pig club work and calves showing gains. Winners included Amy Golden for crochet and Bertha Fleming for cakes and bread with several other prizes awarded to local youths and women.

All Williamsport mourns the death of Mrs. Fred Steinberz who died between seven and eight on Wednesday evening. She was 30 years old and is survived by her husband, her parents Mr and Mrs E B Anderson of Enterprise Mississippi, two brothers Oren Anderson of Philadelphia and Dan Anderson of Indianapolis, and one sister Mrs Joseph L Williams of Mt Collins Colorado. Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian church Sunday at 2 PM with Rev W F Hoot officiating.
