Band Concerts Close In Williamsport
Tuesday night marked the last Hang concert of the season in Williamsport with the band delivering one of its finest performances. About two hundred cars lined Monroe street as crowds enjoyed the show, and business leaders praised the season's support and low complaints about pricing.

Attica merged the Ledger and Tribune into The Attica Ledger and Tribune under J Frankl Mc Dermond Jr. The move leaves Attica with one daily and one weekly, replacing earlier multiple titles. Court Fines Involved In Village Incident At Night
Dell McKinney Frank Mece Elhoe Dandy Smith and Ray Darding were summoned to Justice Powell's court by Night Watchman Mace Parks and Marshal Tom Butt after a disturbance. Dell paid $10.80 Ray paid $10 others received 30 day credit. Harry Taylor and James Eller from near Pine Village also appeared. Taylor failed to prove a claim of theft and paid a $12 fine. he had lent Eller $19 which Eller repaid by check.

Attica Citizen Harvey Finfrock Dies After Illness
Harvey Curtin Finfrock a prominent Attica resident died at his home on East Washington Street after an eight month cancer illness. Born August 19 1864 he was 57. He was a Mason a former painter and monument dealer survived by his widow three brothers and his parents. Funeral services were held at his home with burial in Riverside cemetery. Williamsport loses to Attica in baseball and details of the game follow with umpire Ott. A special election notice outlines thirteen proposed constitutional amendments to be voted on September 6 in Warren County.

Mrs Laura James Dead in West Virginia
Laura James formerly of Attica and Independence died last Thursday at her daughter Mrs Roy Marmaduke’s home in Wheeling West Virginia. She suffered a paralytic stroke the preceding Saturday and was about 65. She leaves one daughter Mrs Marmaduke and sisters Mrs Brien Steadman and Dr W A Rodbertus. One body was shipped to Attica for burial. funeral held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Rev A W Jackman officiating.

Clem Jones of south of Pine Village narrowly escaped serious injury when his Ford sedan struck a L. E. & W. freight engine at Crown street crossing in Oxford about 11 30 Tuesday morning. The car was wrecked but Jones suffered only minor bruises.
