Shotgun clash over pasture rent ends with arrest
In Kickapoo Wednesday afternoon Charles Kiger shot Fred Roasch with a double barreled shotgun after an argument over pasture rent. Roasch fled, was shot in the head and shoulder, later had the pellet removed in Williamsport. Kiger, jailed, appeared before Justice Powell and was bound over to the circuit court for a September term.

William Strickland of Jireen Hill was fined one dollar and costs and given six months on the state penal farm by Judge C A West in Tatar ette last Thursday.
