Fred Scott Dies Suddenly in Williamsport
Fred Scott 11 years old son of Mr. and Mrs. Burton Scott died suddenly from pneumonia fever Tuesday evening in Williamsport. He contracted a heavy cold a week prior and died after treatment by a local physician. Funeral conducted at home at 2:30 by Rev. P. T. Martin. Burial in Riverside cemetery south of Attica. Survived by parents, brother Herbert, and many friends.

Lena Bever and Samuel Board, both Attica residents, wed last Saturday at the groom’s sister Mrs Karl Robinson’s home.

Pine Village Car Flips After Near Lafayette Collision
A seven passenger car carrying John Fuman a Pine Village merchant his wife daughter and sister overturned near Number Ten three miles west of Lafayette after grazing by an approaching vehicle. Out of Court Settlement in Florey Will Case

Judge Berry In Auto Accident Near Barce
Judge Berry and his son Burton along with John Carnahan and Willis McConnaughy were driving to Gay Park on the Tippecanoe when the Studebaker veered into a ditch after the judge momentarily released the steering wheel to light a cigar. All escaped unharmed though the windshield and two fenders were damaged. Mike Lackhart followed and ferried them to town. the car was towed for repairs Tuesday morning.

Library surpasses one thousand volumes with new gift
The library reports more than 1,000 books now available after receiving a gift of about 100 volumes from Mrs. Fremont Goodwine of Locust Ridge Louisiana, formerly Williamsport. The collection includes reference titles and juvenile fiction with classic works. A donor list will be posted soon. Miss Mary Durbin of Durbin and Searight travelled to Indianapolis on Monday to buy the fall millinery line.
