Train Hits Auto Killing Auto Official at West Point Crossing
George Darin 28 a district manager for State Auto mobile Insurance, of Lafayette, was killed when his Overland roadster was struck by No 1 at the Wab ash crossing in West Point at 5 35 Tuesday evening. The car, thrown ahead 800 feet, burned after catching fire. Darin died at St Elizabeth hospital Lafayette at 9 40 p m. Witnesses report whistle bell and crossing gong sounded. Darin had wife and three month old baby at home.

Auto Collision Near Will Odle's Store Shakes Old Town
An auto accident occurred last Saturday night in Old Town in front of Will Odle's store. Charles Hann his wife and two children were in town for trading when a car parked on the opposite curb was struck by John Fix and Frank Crit zer of Attica who were driving down a hill without lights. The crash threw the Hann children from their vehicle but no serious injuries were reported beyond a bad scare.

Joseph J. Little, well known in Attica, died at his home Friday morning after long illness. Born in England, he came to the United States as a youth and spent 45 years in Attica business. He helped start the first electric light plant with Lafayette Putnam. it later became a municipal plant. Survived by his wife and one grandson, Lee Little, of Chicago.
