In regular session the Warren County Commissioners awarded the reroofing contract for the county asylum to Harley Wallace of Attica for 1199 dollars. Pine Village Men Plunge Over Embankment Near Webb Farm
Roy Ogborn and Dr. C H Goddard of Pine Village narrowly escaped death when their Ford roadster tumbled fifteen feet down a bank near the Webb farm on the At tica and Pine Village road. Ogborn suffered a broken leg and possible internal injuries while Goddard, pinned by the steering wheel, was unconscious but freed himself and helped move his companion. The crash occurred about 9 pm as a bright spotlight from an approaching car blinded Goddard. both men were rescued by Dr. McGillivray and rushed to care.
