Riot Trial in West Lebanon Involving Four Young Men
Four West Lebanon youths Glenn Crask Frank Cole Ernest King and Rupert Strumpfer were tried for riot last Thursday. Glenn Crask appealed after a judge ordered total costs of 74.60. the other three paid fines for ninety days. The case stemmed from a pursuit and fight after an alleged insult to Crask’s sister.

Roy Brown of Ambia suffered a serious head injury when a fork left on a wagon dislodged, struck the drive belt, and penetrated his skull near the left eye while unloading oats at a threshing setup. He was unconscious and taken home. a physician said recovery was possible if no complications arose.
