A Dangerous Court Outfit and a Highland Conspiracy
A fragmented 19th century account details a dangerous counterfeiting plot linked to a tomb robbery in Chicago and subsequent arrests in the Midwest. The narrative traces names such as Driggs and Bell, the use of bogus identities, the sale of counterfeit notes, and the seizure of a plate used to print money, culminating in a courtroom and police action across several towns.
