A dealer advertises 189 plush pieces and 3785 yards of plush on sale tomorrow morning. The copy teases a wide range of shades and urges buyers to attend, claiming the prices are clearly audible to all, even a deaf person could hear them.
Eighteen plush wraps in sizes 32 to 44 with Spiral ball trimming offered at 13.75 dollars, below the 26 dollar asking price elsewhere. Ten Astracian jackets in sizes 34 to 84 with other sizes sold out, price 3.00. Fifteen pieces of 42nd French Fouls cloths offered at 37.5 cents per yard, down from 75 cents. Twenty-two dozen scarlet all wool ladies vests and pants at 62.12 cents each, valued at one dollar.
This week we offer twenty pieces of canton flannel at 10 cents per 2 yards, heavy and extra wide. Four cases of soft bleached cotton cost 61 2 cents per yard. Fifty pairs of colored blankets brown and grey mix priced at 195 a pair, described as durable and a good value previously selling at 3.00.
The linen department advertises new holiday goods including towels napkins and table sets with special one lot offers on extra heavy damask towels at 20 cents each. It touts a fine range of French and German ornaments in white and colored centers priced from 4.00 to 14.50 as useful Christmas presents.
