Saving Time Dispute Costs Father a Fine
Elmer Schrock of Johnstown Pennsylvania paid a $27.50 fine after refusing to send his four children to school on time for two weeks saying he would only follow God’s time. A justice of the peace heard that he sent the children an hour late and kept them an hour overtime. He plans to appeal to Somerset County Court.

New Haven report notes salt loss in heavy drinkers and suggests a salt water remedy. Doctors Silkworth and Texon of Knickerbocker Hospital analyzed hospitalized drinkers and found reduced blood chlorides. The salt drink is a teaspoonful in water. A later joke cites a misnamed postal code.
