Checks totaling more than a million and a half dollars were exchanged as promoters and officials met with the Illinois State Athletic Commission and the South Park Board. Leonard Community Fair Boosters Visit Whitewright
Leonard boosters and the Leonard band toured Whitewright on Tuesday promoting the Leonard Community Fair scheduled for September 21 22 23 and 24. The visit featured two musical selections and a talk highlighting free attractions and 1500 in prizes for exhibitors along with rabbit races on Thursday and Friday at 2 30 PM.
