Ex-convict swallows evidence after Fort Worth arrest
A 46 year old ex convict ate part of the money he swindled after being arrested in the 300 block of Henderson on a complaint of short changing a waitress at Parrish Inn. Rev J E Kenard identified him as the man who took $20 in a separate incident. Police noted he and two other ex convicts and a 29 year old woman had pockets full of high denomination bills. The detective said the scam hinged on changing a $10 or $20 bill. A crude remark about women followed.
