Million Dollar Currency Shipment to Dallas Bank
Five to six iron chests with one million dollars in currency arrived at Frisco Station Dallas under heavy guard from the United States Treasury. Cumby Shot in Sherman Serious Condition
H D Cumby a well known lawyer of Sherman was accidentally shot Friday when a bullet from Policeman Andy Burris glanced on the pavement and entered his mouth. He was taken to Sherman Sanitarium and later reported resting comfortably at Sherman Hospital. Doctors wait for strength before removing the bullet and expressed hope for recovery.
