Water Tax Study Considered by Texas Code Committee

Lee Dodson drove a Pascal Farley truck when a Chrysler New Yorker crossed the center line near Nocona and rammed the truck. The crash left two men in the car critically injured. one thrown clear, the other pinned under the truck as both vehicles were demolished. Dodson escaped with minor injuries.

Ordnance Depot to Be Reopened by Army
The Lone Star Ordnance Depot at Texarkana Texas will be partly reopened by the Army next month. The Army told Senator Connally that 2 228 additional employees will be hired. The depot is part of the Red River arsenal. A four man Quonset hut for stranded airmen in the Arctic is made of cotton fabric and can be erected with a hand air pump. It is designed to withstand gates of 100 miles per hour.
