Funeral services for P. W. England 65 were held at the Church of Christ in Bells with L Lemons of Sherman presiding. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery. England died Friday in a Sherman hospital after surgery and had lived in Bells most of his life. He was born October 31, 1885 in Sunbright Tennessee and moved to Texas in 1909. He married Lilly G Edens in Enterprise on July 24 1910. Survivors include his wife four sons James D Grady Lester R two daughters and two sisters among others. Ty Cobb won 12 American League batting championships.
