Clyde C Williams 34, night foreman on the Santa Fe bridge project, was shot and killed by Jake Harris 30 in a dispute over a craps game at a nearby camp. Williams had gone to settle the dispute and ruled against Harris. Harris fired, Williams died about 11 hours later.
