Mrs J A Reynolds wife of a veteran Methodist minister died at her Sherman home last Thursday. She leaves her husband and other family. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family.

Seawillow Johnson Weds Benton Roberts in Marlin Ceremony

Miss Seawillow Johnson and Benton Roberts were married at the home of the bride’s parents in Marlin after a ceremony led by Dr. W F Packard. The couple will reside in Crockett. Gifts included ten shares of Marlin National Bank stock and a silver coffee urn set from local merchants.

H Chowning Dies At Madill

Sid Hudspeth traveled to Madill Oklahoma after learning of the death of his brother in law H Chowning who died Friday night at his home in Madill He was sixty and recently underwent an operation at Mayo Clinic Rochester Minnesota He is survived by his wife and two sons Bob and Sumner Chowning prominent Madill bankers and businessmen The decedent was well known in Whitewright and this area having lived here many years before moving to Madill about twelve years ago He also served several years as city marshal here Officials and neighbors address the sad passing with regret
