Twixt Me and a My Typewriter review and local notes
A column recounts a hard rock live show with a five member band and mixed reactions to the genre. It notes loud music, unclear vocals, and a purple mist with flashing lights that drew about 200 attendees at homecoming. The piece also covers open house plans, a bank’s helpful service, a WD-40 joke, and local anecdotes about numbers of lawmakers, a misprint about an open house date, and a fire incident involving a bird house on a pole.
