New Blacktop Road Open To Traffic In Whitewright
Grayson County and Whitewright city completed a one mile blacktop extension from North Bond Street to Oak Hill Cemetery entrance. Major funding came from Kay Kimbell and Will Fleming with minor costs by the city. The soft surface will require tractor restraint and future improvements may follow if durable. Commissioner Vaughan then moved crews to Tom Bean for similar work.
