Sherman Texas report notes banker and farmer R A Owen of Woodville Oklahoma says his county saw ten dollars an acre in advertising value from the Red River Valley Fair exhibit. Marshall and 14 other Texas and Oklahoma counties will have county and individual displays at the fair October 4 to 7. Owen's ten ears of Ferguson Yellow Dent Corn won sweepstakes, and he donated the ear to Corn Club boy Edgar Sledge of Van Alstyne, who built a prize crop for the District Fair and the Red River Valley Fair. Corn growers and Corn Club boys from 14 counties are preparing exhibits.
