Flying Machines Over Whitewright Return After Bonham Flight
Flying machines from Love Field Dallas passed Whitewright Friday evening about seven thirty on their way to Bonham. Saturday morning two returned to Dallas with one passing near town and the other miles southwest. The event drew much attention as residents knew nothing of the visit until the sound approached. The flyers were killed to make flights at Bonham Friday afternoon but were delayed due to trouble with a machine near Blue Ridge.

Motorcycle accident at Miller hill injures Henry Phillips
Henry Phillips suffered a painful fall Friday around nine after attempting to pass an auto truck at the foot of Miller hill. Red Cross Auction Nets $232.50 for Local Auxiliary
Red Cross auction sales last Saturday raised 232.50 for the local Auxiliary. A Poland China pig donated by T. H. Lively sold for 42.00 and a Duroc-Jersey pig donated by J. R. Oliver sold for 138.00. A Jersey calf donated by J. W. Burden brought 52.50. Total from three auctions exceeds 550.00 as volunteers labor six days weekly.

Miller awarded damages in Sherman jury trial
Robert L. Miller who was injured last June when his car collided with a Cotton Belt motor at the crossing west of the stand pipe received damages from a Sherman District Court jury last Saturday. He sought 200 for alleged permanent injuries. Several locals testified as witnesses.
