New Oil Tests Go Down in Muenster Sector of Cooke
About six new oil test wells are being drilled in the Muenster area 15 miles west of Gainesville. A Byron Sears farm well cored 11 feet of oil sand and reached 1 118 feet with the drill still in the sand. Casing is being set for testing.
