Achievement Award Goes To R N Cash Of Cass County
Russell N. Cash of Atlanta Texas received the Hoblitzelle Achievement Award for the Advancement of Texas Rural Life at Renner. The $5 000 cash prize and a gold medal honors Cash for rebuilding soil on a depleted 440 acre Cass County farm and teaching diversified farming. He has lectured to over 12 000 East Texas farmers and visitors and hosted more than 2 000 in 1950 to inspect his soil management system.
