Boston dispatch reports 350000 alleged fake sweepstakes lottery tickets were seized in a New York apartment house. The tickets cost $1 and came with 25000 addressed envelopes and 40000 circulars for New York New Jersey New England and California. Lightning strikes couple near Brookland killing wife
Mrs Addie Lee Donahue 51 was instantly killed and her husband William Donahue seriously injured when a lightning bolt struck their back porch a mile east of Brookland. Donahue had been struck before but not seriously hurt. Surviving are her parents Mr and Mrs J W Bell of Goodland a daughter Addie Lee and son Edgar of San Antonio.
