A Topless T Bird and a Belted Invention Tale
The narrator credits Virgil Mullins with a clever plan to lift the removable hardtop of a 1955 T Bird using belts pulleys and ropes costing about 4.50. After a mishap Virgil’s finger injury delays the project but the inventor’s method works and the writer now drives a topless T Bird. C H Thornhill quips that very little work gets done, calculating absurdly short work years in a humorous piece.
