Bells Sets March 29 Special School Election
Bells Independent School District Board set Saturday March 29 as election day to decide bonds totaling 150000 for upgrading and renovating existing buildings and building a new Vocational Building. Burglars Strike Whitewright Cafe In Street Crime
Thieves hit Chris Cafe in downtown Whitewright after 10 p.m. Saturday, breaking into the cash box and a cigarette machine but failing to steal money. The only valuable item taken was a jewelry case with cigarette lighters and costume jewelry, which was dropped in the alley as the burglars fled.
