Tom Lively of Centex Drowns at Lake Garza Little Elm

Whitewright native Tom Lively, founder of a Dallas building firm that became Centex Corp, drowned Sunday night at Lake Garza Little Elm. Skindivers recovered his body after he disappeared near his boat. Born in Whitewright 45 years ago, he was survived by his wife and two sons. Funeral and burial were held in Dallas.

The Little Rock Home Demonstration Club met Tuesday afternoon at Mrs. H G Vandagriff's home with eight members and two guests.
