Marvin Methodist Church Dedicates Memorial Pews
Homecoming day at Marvin Methodist Church drew over 100 former members and friends for a daylong program. Sermons by Rev. J. P. Fleming and Rev. Lemuel Hall, a chalk talk by Roy Robinson, and remarks by Rev. Harold Davis highlighted the event. Memorial pews honored families, Land Lord's Acre funds supported improvements, and new pews and a pulpit stand were installed. The church floor was refinished and the piano updated. The event becomes an annual observance with thanks to all who contributed or aided, including ice cream for the noon meal.
