General Lee Gets Two Year Sentence
In Fort Worth Texas on June 5 the trial court sentenced Charles Sherwin and H H Schwarz to ten years in federal prison and fines of 15000 each. General Robert A Lee received two years in prison and a 6000 fine after a guilty verdict on charges of using the mails to defraud and conspiracy related to the General Lee Oil Companies. The judge noted Lee acted as a tool in the hands of more astute promoters.

Baby Strangled by Mosquito Bar in Sherman
Mary Irene Dennie, 2, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Dennie of Sherman route 6, died yesteday afternoon after a mosquito bar on her bed became tangled around her neck. The child was left on the bed by her mother while she fixed supper and fell between the bed and the wall, strangling before help could reach her. Efforts at restoration were futile.
