Jasper Gunter Moves From Sherman to McKinney Hospital
Jasper Gunter was moved from a Sherman hospital to the veterans hospital in McKinney after a Saturday night crash between Whitewright and Bells. He had been in critical condition, but doctors now believe he will recover as he has been taken off the critical list. The Ford he drove was destroyed while the truck, driven by Gordon Dales Jones of Coffeeville Kansas, was badly damaged. Jones was uninjured. The truck skidded 150 feet, Gunter’s car 73 feet after impact. Gunter, employed by Whitewright Lumber Co., may have lost or had his wallet stolen in the accident.
