Wife Shoots Husband in Sherman Tragedy at Walnut and Lamar
Mrs Florence Miller shot J Miller at 4:30 PM at the Walnut and Lamar intersection in Sherman Texas. He was mortally wounded with a single cartridge, treated at Dr J E Jones clinic and St Vincent's Sanitarium where he died Wednesday morning. Mrs Miller detained by Sheriff and hospitalized in county jail ward. She cites mistreatment by husband and had brought her 5 month old baby to the scene. Miller had been living near Anna Collin county on a Shir ley farm and worked at a local restaurant since Saturday.

Whitesboro Trade Trip Promotes W O W Picnic

First Bale in Williams County Cotton Ties to Whitewright Market
The first bale of Williams county cotton this season was sent in by W. A. Rialls of Beyersville. It graded strict good middling and sold for 10 cents per pound. Whitewright promotes its grain market and plans a strong cotton market this fall with a new Cotton Belt motor car schedule starting Sunday. The double round trip to Sherman offers a quick morning departure and return, aiding busy residents and court-goers.
