In California the 115 degree heat, radiator cautions, and the Jackrab bit Trail led to Riverside and finally Los Angeles where weary travelers reached around 10:30 PM amid busy city traffic. Auto crash injures several near Ida and Sherman
Thursday morning, P. J. Russell of Kentuckytown's car, with his wife, Mrs. Jim Thomas, and four children, overturned on the Ida to Sherman road. Russell suffered two or three broken ribs and other injuries. Mrs. Thomas and two young daughters were hurt but not seriously. Mrs. J. R. Murphy has returned from a visit with her daughter Miss Pina, a student at North Texas State Teachers' College in Denton.
