Funeral services held Monday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Durant Oklahoma for 80 year old Mrs. S S Aldridge born Minnie Russell died Friday after a four month illness. Burial followed in Durant. She lived in Bryan County sixty years and was a Baptist. Funeral services were held for Dr Minnie Harmon Pirtle a 76 year old retired osteopath at Beeville Texas then body taken to Houston for cremation. She died Monday after an 18 day illness at Sabine Oaks Nursing Home. Born in Kirksville Missouri she practiced 50 years in Houston and Whitewright retiring in 1951. Surviving are daughter Mrs C Gordon Glanville of Beaumont sisters Mrs Luther Paschal Washington Missouri and Mrs Katherine McVey Chicago Illinois brother Everett Harmon Moro Arkansas and three grandchildren.
