Survivors include son Ollie Page and daughters Mrs. Frank Johnson Mrs. O L Sims and Mrs. Bobby Murphy, two brothers L James and Hershel James, 31 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 30 p m at Pilot Grove Baptist Church for Henry M Doc Moats 37 a farmer who died Friday afternoon at Ashburn Veterans Hospital McKinney after a 10 week illness He lived on Whitewright route 1 The Rev Leroy Martin officiated with Rev Ross Bourland of McKinney The burial followed at Cross Roads Cemetery Pallbearers were James Gosnell Guy Stepp John C Elliott J W McKinney Charles Kaiser and Burris F Butler He was born May 17 1917 son of the late Mr and Mrs William H Moats a Trenton High School graduate a World War II veteran discharged in 1945 and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Baptist Church Survivors include his wife two brothers Curtis Moats Anna and Cletis Moats Whitewright three sisters Mrs Benton Wallace Van Alstyne Mrs Grady Young Bells and Mrs Euell Garner Whitewright
