Funeral services for Mrs. W. H. Horton will be at 2 p m Friday at Barnheart chapel with Roy Waldrum officiating. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Survived by one son Eldon Horton and three daughters, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren. Mrs. Horton died December 25 after four months illness.

The bride wore white lace over satin with a satin Bible bouquet. After a reception in Richardson the couple will live in Commerce while attending East Texas State Teachers College.
Billy C. Blackwell of Whitewright and Lillian Jones of Bonham were married Saturday morning at the home of Justice E. B. Martin. Blackwell is son of Jackie L. Z. Chesser. Jones daughter of Spencer and Mrs. Jones. They will reside in Whitewright.
Rotary Club program chair Paul Stephens presented Rev. and Mrs. Fred Waldrop of the First Baptist Church. Mrs Waldrop played a piano number before Mr. Waldrop spoke on Christmas and its meaning. Visiting Rotarians Joe Keith and J. A. Hulme of Sherman Rotary Club attended.
Mrs. George Ball hosted a Christmas party for the Little Rock Club at her home on Thursday. Mrs. Floyd Harris read a Christmas story and Mrs. Bob Cawthon led a brief business meeting. Plans were made for a community party on December 27 at the club house with invites. Gifts exchanged and refreshments served to 15 members and guests. Reporter.
