Farmers Sell Cotton At 23 Cents Amid Gains
Cotton prices rose last week with several farmers disposing of holdings at 23 cents. The cotton yard and gin yards show reluctance among producers to sell at current prices. Odd Fellows and families attended the harsh winter home coming event last Thursday, an enjoyable festival.
Paved Gravel Surface Planned for Sherman Whitesboro Pike
The Sherman Whitesboro pike will receive gravel resurfacing funded with a $9,000 state appropriation and a $3,000 county supplement. The project refines the roadway to improve travel conditions.
