Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs Floyd Harris 75 of Dallas who died at Whitewright Nursing Home Saturday night. Rev C E Jackson and Rev C C Dooley conducted the service and burial was in Wittitee Cemetery at Kentuckytown. She was a native of Whitewright, daughter of John and Nora Pierce, married to Floyd Harris in 1907. Surviving are her son Frank Harris and daughter Ouida Nell Harris both of Dallas, two brothers John R Pierce of O'Donnell and R E Pierce of Whitewright route one, and two sisters Mrs Gertrude Williams of Dallas and Mrs Johnny King of Sherman.

Baxter 77 who died Sunday in a Savoy rest home Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery He was born July 17 1885 in Tennessee a retired farmer and a Mason Surviving are his wife a son O D Baxter of Sherman three daughters Mrs L D Beall Mrs Harwood Stephens of Sherman and Miss Annie Ruth Baxter of Bells three sisters Mrs Estelle Miss Lillian Baxter of Whitewright route one and Mrs W H Forrest of Texarkana two grandchildren and one great grandchild
Jonesboro Arkansas resident W B Langford 91 says he has attended Sunday school at First Baptist Church since 1905 and plans to keep going. He recalls being carried to class on a cot 40 years ago and calls himself the happiest man in Arkansas.
