Positive identification of Waco murder suspect in Leap tragedy
In Waco, Texas, authorities announced the positive identification of a former suspect, a Black man, as the murderer of Grady Skipworth after the Lovers Leap incident on Nov 30. Community Poultry Show Draws Crowds in Whitewright
Whitewright hosted a successful community poultry show promoted by the high school agriculture department and the Chamber of Commerce. About 365 birds were shown by 57 owners with an estimated 3000 attendees. Cox to Pulaski Tenn for father’s death
W M Cox traveled to Pulaski Tennessee last Thursday after a message announced the death of his father Jasper Cox aged 91. The elder Cox had been ill for some time and his death was not unexpected. Cox plans to remain several months to assist in settling the estate, which includes hundreds of acres of land and other property in Tennessee. W C Bailey of Wilson Oklahoma oversees the Cox grocery during the absence.

Lyceum Course Faces Change After Powell Hale Delay

Texas to Seek $500000 for State Survey Plan
Austin December 5 An appropriation of about 500000 will be asked of the Thirty eighth Legislature to fund a thorough topographic and hydrographic survey of Texas water resources.
