Weevil Dusting Machine Tested by White and Donigan

The White and Donigan Gin Company bought a three row dusting machine and calcium arsenate for use on W. L. White’s farm north of town. The machine dusts at night, covering 35 to 40 acres per session, to combat boll weevils. Early results from other areas show increased cotton yields, and three dustings are advised four to five days apart. If tests prove satisfactory, the method may expand in the region next season.
