George and Lafayette Garner traveled to Kenefick and Caddo Oklahoma at the start of the week to present music recitals in regional venues. They will perform selections spanning classical and folk traditions, engaging local audiences with refined interpretive styles.
Cole Thrasher, eleven, son of Mr and Mrs Robert Thrasher, died Thursday at one after stepping on a nail earlier in the week. The wound showed no early signs, but a rapid collapse brought a sudden, shockful end. He was loved by family and friends, with prayers for his father, mother, sister and four brothers. A junior Epworth League was organized at the Methodist church last Sunday afternoon with twenty five names enrolled. Dee Little is president with Minnie Willis as vice president and Willie Ross as treasurer. Other officers to be elected next Sunday. Meetings at 2 30 each Sunday led by Mrs Nova Little and Mrs A R Nash. W T Nicholson left for Conway Arkansas as his father is dangerously ill. The Missionary Society social is at Mrs J L Boone's home Monday at 3 PM.
