Good Roads Benefit With Bonds Says W T Truett
W T Truett argues for issuing bonds to fund county good roads to end mudbed work stoppages for farmers. He says better roads save time, boost market access for cotton, create jobs in wartime, and foster progress and citizenship. He favors spreading costs over time rather than a single tax year and notes concrete bridges and culverts to prevent washouts.
