Local Egg Contest Showcases Unusual Entries at The Sun
C S Blanton and Claud Phillips entered The Sun egg contest. Blanton's egg was very large but short of the largest by about an ounce, while Phillips's egg was not as big but unusually shaped. The Sun displays nearly every shape and size of egg seen. Mrs Holcomb visited relatives in Greenville this week. Oscar Bow received several lemons from his brother Robert Bow of Mission Texas. The lemons were as large as grapefruits with one measuring 14 1/2 by 16 inches and tasty as California lemons. Read advertisements it pays.
