Grayson County Good Roads Bond Drive Endorsed
A county meeting at Sherman supports a $900000 bond issue to build about 225 miles of roads across Grayson County. Citizens from Whitesboro, Denison, Bells, Tom Bean, Whitewright, and other areas urge countywide cooperation with the Commissioners Court to finance, construct, and maintain the proposed network. The campaign outlines point to point road building, $4000 per mile funding, and a maintenance system with a representative committee from each section.
