Funeral services held April 4 at Johnson Street Church of Christ for Hayden M Hamilton who died Saturday in a Mesquite nursing home. Burial in Memoryland Memorial Park. Supt. Dick Capps told Whitewright Rotary the district is in good financial shape with no tax increase this year beyond last year’s $143,000. About 2,200 reevaluation forms were mailed. any raises due to low evaluations will be offset by tax relief for others. The budget totals $550,000, with $143,000 locally collected and $58,000 directed to the building fund.
